Gala Cathedral

The Gala Cathedral was a music venue located in the stairwell of 804 1/2 Wealthy. The venue was started by David Sampson and existed between 2004 and 2005.

The Gala Cathedral is a new venue in Grand Rapids. It is planned to be :very personally sized, very affordable, very fun, very condusive to :hanging out and not hanging on the back wall and acting "Awesome".

I know that sometimes you really need to hang out on the back wall, :because you're tired, or the band or performer hasn't won you over yet, :but at the Gala Cathedral we're going to try to make you want to be :engaged in whatever is going in front of you.

And I mean, if you give good vibes to the dude trying to do his thing :for you, THE SHOW WILL IMPROVE! ALWAYS!

Stay tuned for more information on the Gala Cathedral. The first show :will be on Monday, April 19th. It will start and end at a very :reasonable time, promptly commencing at 7PM. The people there will all :be hopefully vibing harmoniously, given the environs, which will be :tweaked for maximum good-time-vibrations. I'm kind of serious with all :this stuff. Let's all get off the wall and make friends.
