Where did this come from? It obviously was not written by the submitter and we can't just accept data without knowing where it came from. If nothing is posted within a week, I'll have to delete. Michael 12:32, 25 June 2007 (EDT)

I wrote the article based on research that I did at the Grand Rapids History and Special Collections Dept. of the GRPL. I wanted people to be able to add to it, so I added it here.
