The Sparrows
The Sparrows is a coffeehouse and newsstand established in November of 2007 as The Stray Dog Cafe at 1035 Wealthy St. SE in the East Hills neighborhood. The name changed to The Sparrows in 2008 because of threat of legal action by the Stray Dog Bar & Grille in New Buffalo, MI. The Sparrows is co-owned by Mike and Lori Knorr; Jason Brown (a former owner of Gold Coffee in Eastown) was also involved in opening this shop but has now moved to CA.
